Meg Swaney is a PhD student in Egyptian Art & Archaeology and a Graduate Student Museum Supervisor at the Johns Hopkins Archaeological Museum. She she does osteological work at the JHU Mut Temple expedition, and her dissertation focuses on the art history of the temple of Ptolemy XII at Athribis. Meg holds an MA in Museum Studies and a BA in Anthropology. Her master's thesis looked at the ethics of displaying Egyptian mummies, and assessed the effectiveness of different in-gallery interpretive devices, including CT scans and forensic facial reconstructions.
