Susan Peckham is a Senior Paper Conservator at the Library of Congress where she has worked for twelve years and enjoys acting as conservation liaison to the Prints and Photographs and Music Divisions. Previously, she worked for the National Archives and Records Administration, Smithsonian Institution, and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, among others. She holds a master’s degree and an advanced certificate in art conservation from the Buffalo Graduate Program and a bachelor’s of science in biology from Indiana University. Her longtime interests include iron gall ink degradation and office materials used as artistic media.
