Dr Angelica Bartoletti is a conservation scientist at TATE for the NANORESTART project. She has completed her PhD at University College London (UCL). Her research interests include the evaluation of the impact of traditional and innovative conservation treatments for cellulose and collagen-based artefacts, with a new focus on modern and contemporary materials. She also researches the application of innovative tools (such as Atomic Force Microscopy and Micro/Nano Thermal Analysis) in the field of heritage science for the characterisation of materials and their degradation behaviours at the nanoscale.
