Stephanie Guidera (she/her) is an Objects Conservator at the North Carolina Museum of History. She holds a Masters of Art and Certificate of Advanced Study in Art Conservation from the Patricia H. and Richard E. Garman Art Conservation Department at SUNY Buffalo State College. Steph was an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in Objects Conservation at the National Museum of the American Indian, and has worked for North Carolina Museum of Art, Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, National Museum of American History, Alaska State Museum, Cleveland Museum of Art, Midwest Art Conservation Center, Science Museum of Minnesota, and various private practices. She is particularly interested in polychromy, pigments and dyes, analytical imaging, cultural heritage, and contemporary art.
