Nikki works as a Conservator at the Natural History Museum focusing on the care and conservation of the museum's collections. Nikki completed her conservation training at University College London, leaving with an MSc in Conservation for Archaeology and Museums in 2013. Before the NHM, Nikki gained experience at both the Horniman Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum before working as the Clothworkers' Junior Fellow (Organics) in the Conservation Department at the British Museum.

While at the NHM, Nikki has evaluated and treated an extensive range of natural history material including taxidermy, wax models, fossil mammals and mineral specimens. She recently managed the conservation of over 300 specimens for a new touring exhibition. This included the successful installation of specimens at the first venue in Tokyo. Nikki also forms part of the NHM Conservation training group and delivers a range of both commercial training courses and workshops for NHM staff development.
