Magdalena Pilko holds a MA degree in photograph conservation from the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands and is about to start a Professional Doctorate (PD Res) programme in photograph conservation at the University of Amsterdam. Before, she completed a BA in photography at the Royal Academy of Art in the Hague, Netherlands and gained experience during an internship at the fotorestauratie atelier VOF of Clara von Waldthausen in Amsterdam. She is particularly interested in pioneering photographic works, contemporary as well as historical ones.
