Irit Lev Beyth graduated in 1994 from Queen's University with a Master's of Art in Conservation. She interned at The Brooklyn Museum of Art and has been an objects conservator at The Israel Museum since 1998. In 2015 she was appointed Head of Metals and Organic Objects Conservation at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the largest museum and conservation complex in the country. Previous employment and projects include: Asian Art Museum (San Francisco), Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Bahai World Center (Haifa, Israel), Ghetto Fighters House (2nd largest Holocaust collection and research center), and other museums, institutions, and collections.
