Sarah James is pursuing her MSc in Conservation Practice from Cardiff University, located in Cardiff, Wales, UK. She completed her BA in Art History with a concentration in museum studies, and minors in Archaeology and Classics from Millsaps College, located in Jackson, Mississippi, USA, in 2013. During her undergraduate degree, she enhanced her appreciation for the arts in study and practice, while developing her understanding of various other branches within the museum scope (i.e. archaeology, museum management, curatorial work, collections management and conservation). She achieved this through a variety of internships within museums, independent conservation labs, and archaeological field work. In addition, her desire to understand the processes associated with various artistic methods drove her to take a number of courses in a variety of mediums.
