Kamila M. Korbela-Dunigan is the Assistant Paintings Conservator at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. For the past two years, she has been focusing on assisting the department head with the preparation of the scholarly catalogue of the Ahmanson collection consisting of old masters and early modern works of art. In 2014, she completed graduate training in conservation, with a specialization in paintings and polychrome sculptures, at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart. Her previous experience includes, inter alia, a pre-program fellowship at the German State Conservation Department, a graduate internship at the National Gallery of Denmark, and a postgraduate fellowship at the Balboa Art Conservation Center.
