With an MA in Art Conservation from SUNY Buffalo State, Kimberly Crozier-Mitsche has a wide knowledge of a variety of materials and techniques, which she puts to use in her conservation business. Experience gathered from school and work has led her to specialize in the care of sculpture and decorative arts, including painted and gilded surfaces, metal, wood, ceramics and glass, as well as composite objects.

Conservation services include cleaning, repairs, stabilization and restoration of art and artifacts, as well as historic research, materials analysis, consultation on archival storage and display, collection surveys and collection maintenance.

Kimberly has flexibility in work hours and location, being available to work on site or in her studio. She stays current on the latest techniques and developments in her field by attending professional meetings and collaborating with allied professionals.

Kimberly has trained and worked with conservators at the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Wintertur Museum and Library, the Worcester Art Museum, and the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum. She is also experienced in private practice settings including van Enter Studio, Spicer Art Conservation, and disaster recovery following Hurricane Katrina. She has treated works ranging in scale from outdoor sculpture and 40-foot murals to minute ceramics with delicate surfaces and 100-year old textile fragments.
