Kim Norman is Head of Library Conservation at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where her previous tenures include two additional conservation positions (2002-2013). Kim also served the Georgia Archives as Contract Conservator and Preservation Manager/Conservator (2006-2018) while maintaining a book and paper conservation private practice in Atlanta over 25 years.

Kim is a member of the AIC Book and Paper Group, Sustainability Committee (2016-18), and previous Chair/Co-Chair of the Emergency Committee (2012-14; 2014-16). She served as a steering committee member of the Alliance for Response network in Atlanta-HERA and President/Vice-President of the Southeastern Regional Conservation Association-SERCA (2014-16; 2016-18).

Kim holds a BA from Sweet Briar College and an MFA from The University of the Arts. She is currently working toward the History of Bookbinding Certificate with Rare Book School at the University of Virginia.
