Kate Brown is the Collections Manager at the Thoma Foundation, and is based in Chicago, Illinois. She comes to the Foundation from a Chicago-based fine art appraisal firm where she oversaw all facets of collection management for institutional clients and the company as the Senior Appraisal & Research Assistant. She received her BFA in Integrated Studio Arts with a minor in French from Iowa State University (2008) and her MA in Modern Art History, Theory and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2012).
