Janelle Elyse Sahutski recently joined Preservation Virginia as their Architectural Conservator. She oversees all aspects of historic conservation work at the organization's sites located across the state, including Historic Jamestown and Patrick Henry's Scotchtown. Before joining Preservation Virginia, Janelle Elyse worked as a Project Manager and Assistant Conservator at CSI in Washington, DC, where the majority of her work focused on architectural conservation treatments and conditions assessments. She holds a BS in Building Construction from The Georgia Institute of Technology and an MS in Historic Preservation with a concentration in conservation science from The University of Pennsylvania, where this research was conducted.
