Yu-hsien Chen is the former director of “Save Media Art” project established by Taiwan Digital Art Foundation since Nov, 2017. Currently working in M+, Hong Kong, as a associate conservator of digital and media art since February, 2019. And she has been working full-time as a associate media art conservator at the Collection Management Department, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) since 2015. Her professional interests focus on the conservation philosophy and paradigm shift that brought by new media artworks. Her challenge this year is to create a new version of online collection information database of NTMoFA, and updating new media art collection acquisition and management policy to the current policy. Yuhsien Chen received her B.A. degree in Digital Media Design from National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, and M.A. degree in Conservation of Cultural Relics and Museology from Tainan National University of the Arts, In 2015, Ms. Yuhsein co-organized and executed the very first international new media art preservation symposium in Taiwan, called "International Symposium: Collecting and Exhibiting New Media Arts", inviting researchers and practitioners from foreign countries. In 2014, she worked as a CD-ROM Archive intern at Mediamatic, Amsterdam.
