Gennifer Majors is currently the Isabel Bader intern in textile conservation and research at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre with Queen's University. Previously, she was the fellow in the textile conservation department of The George Washington University Museum and The Textile Museum in Washington DC. With a background in physics and history, she received her Masters degree from the Centre for Textile Conservation at the University of Glasgow in November 2015. She has interned with the Costume and Textiles conservation department at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She also acted as student representative for the Scotland branch of ICON (Institute of Conservation) and helped to establish EPOCCH (Emerging Professionals of Conservation and Cultural Heritage) as part of ICON Scotland. In the future, she intends to establish a private practice at her home in Arkansas.
