Fran Ritchie is the Conservator of ethnographic materials, natural science, and decorative arts objects at the National Park Service (NPS) Harpers Ferry Center. Prior to working for the NPS, she was an assistant conservator in the Anthropology Objects Conservation Lab at the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH), working on a renovation project of the Museum's iconic Northwest Coast Hall. She also worked as the Project Conservator for an IMLS grant-funded project researching materials used to conserve historic mammalian taxidermy at AMNH and Yale University's Institute for Preservation of Cultural Heritage. Fran completed three terms as an officer for the Emerging Conservation Professionals Network, including a term as Chair (2015-2016). She is currently serving on the Nominating Committee (2017-2020) and is Assistant Program Chair of OSG (2018-2019).
