I have: - Ph.D. Degree in conservation, (with the first class honor), in May 2003. - Master Science degree in conservation, (Grade Excellent), in May 1998. - Bachelor Degree in Theology, (Grade: Excellent), in May 1990. - Bachelor Degree in conservation, (Grade very good), in May 1987. I am: - Director General of Conservation, Helwan, El-Saf and Atfeh Sector, Ministry of Antiquities, Egypt. - International Expert in Conservation and Restoration. - Professor, Higher Institute for Coptic Studies in Cairo. - Founder and Former Coordinator of the ICOM-CC-Wood, Furniture and Lacquer WG. - Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar, Session 466; in: Conservation and Preservation of Cultural Heritage. I have about twenty nine years of experiences; working in the conservation and restoration as well as in the international organizations’ activities in the field of conservation/ restoration and in the felid of Cultural Heritage in general. I have extensive experience in planning and supervising of conservation projects and involving in carrying out the treatment and conservation work. My experience also includes examination, documentation, management, conservation and treatment of a wide variety of objects and collections, preparing materials for exhibition, storage, transferring of collections, as well as involving in general conservation activities such as surveying collections, risk assessments, prevention of disaster, condition reporting, environmental monitoring and control as well as Integrated Pest Management. Again, I have wide experience in technical studies, scientific research, innovation of some restoration materials and methods, writing reports, instructing, advising, training, and giving lectures in training courses, judging works and projects as well as judging papers in international conferences, organizing and chairing of local, regional and international conferences and workshops. I have acted as Chair for some Conferences and Meetings and have published several books and papers in conservation issues as well as in Cultural Heritage issues.
